The battles between the Rebel Alliance and the Empire are intensifying.
Get excited, Star Wars fans. The new Rogue One: A Star Wars Story trailer dives deeper into the tumultuous back story of Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones). Apparently, her father (Mads Mikkelsen) was involved in creating the Death Star. And now she has to find him.
The trailer also shows a closer look at the construction of the Death Star — and features a Darth Vader cameo.
Rogue One, a prequel to the original 1977 Star Wars film, will tell the tale of the rebels trying to bring down the Death Star. It arrives in theaters on December 16.
