The upcoming DVD release of Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody is set to include previously unseen footage.

The record-breaking Queen movie will be released on Blu-Ray and DVD on March 4, and will feature an extended and unseen scene from the band’s seminal ‘Live Aid’ performance, which sees them also playing ‘We Will Rock You’ and ‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love’.

As well as the new total 22 minutes of footage recreating the iconic charity gig, the release also comes with behind-the-scenes interviews with cast and crew, plus members of Queen.

Bohemian Rhapsody sing a long

Queen superfans will love the sing-a-long experience

It was also recently announced that a Bohemian Rhapsody sing-a-long experience is set to launch in cinemas across the UK this month. Cineworld, Vue, Showcase and Everyman cinemas are just some of the locations hosting the event, starting January 11. You see the full list of participating cinemas and book tickets here.

Last year, Bohemian Rhapsody became the highest-grossing music biopic of all time – despite receiving mixed reviews from critics

Guitarist Brian May recently said it would have been “a disaster” if Ali G star Sacha Baron Cohen had played Freddie Mercury in the film as originally intended, instead of Rami Malek.
