Here's Lana....

Lana Del Rey has revealed new single ‘hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me…but I have it’, the latest track to emerge from her forthcoming album.

The new track is taken from forthcoming LP ‘Norman Fucking Rockwell’ – and it sees Del Rey delivering one of her most confessional offerings to date as she compares herself to troubled poetry icon Sylvia Plath.

“I’ve been tearing around in my fucking nightgown. 24/7 Sylvia Plath, writing in blood on the walls,” Del Rey sings on the new track.

It’s believed that the same track was initially teased in October, after she shared a since deleted clip of a song titled ‘Sylvia Plath’ on Instagram.

Although a release date for ‘Norman Fucking Rockwell’ is yet to be confirmed, Del Rey last week said her latest offering was finally completed.

But before that album emerges, she previously admitted that she’s keen to release a book of poetry first.

“I think I’m just going to self-publish it and put it out beforehand. It’s kind of random. Which is kind of another one of those things I just want out there just for me,” she previously said.

“I literally might just drop these little books off at some bookstores in Silverlake and beg them to sell them. It’s been really cool for me ‘cause I was having a little bit of writers’ block with the music last Fall and so I just sat down to write some words without music and I realized there was just a couple of things I wanted to say through some poems, which is funny. I feel like I’m in the 19th Century.”
