It's officially happening...

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have begun work on Bad Boys 3, some 15 years after the last instalment of the explosive action films was released.

The anticipated sequel, which sees Smith and Lawrence reprise their roles as Detectives Mike Lowry and Marcus Burnett, is set for release in 2020 after the project spend over a decade in development hell.

Now, the pair have both marked the beginning of production with an Instagram post that subtly teased what’s to come.
